Futari no Kōkyōkyoku is a TV anime produced by Studio XYZ and aired on Fuji TV from 2001 through 2002.

  • Tomoko Kaneda as Rena Ōno, a junior high school girl who plays in the Isawa University Band and loves her music teacher as a father.
  • Kōichi Yamadera as Reijirō Kazato, Rena's music teacher who he loves like a daughter.

  • The series was a wedding gift from Keiji Ishii to his wife Sadami Hiyoshi, who was the arist for the manga it is based on.
    • The first episode was said to be screened early during their wedding.
