Mr. Kumada (Kanji: 熊田さん) is a recurring antagonist in Ponpoko 4-Kyoudai.
He is the anything-but-friendly next-door neighbor to the Moriyamas.
Appearance[]
Mr. Kumada is a big, overweight black bear.
His casual clothes are a dirty muscle shirt with his potbelly sticking out, a bronze haramaki and dark green trouser-length shoes.
Personality[]
Mr. Kumada is a very grumpy man who more often than not holds a grudge with anyone around him over nothing.
He often strikes poses and attacks reminiscent of a sumo wrestler's, this is because he was a sumo wrestler himself in the past.
Trivia[]
- Mr. Kumada doesn't appear in Shin Ponpoko 4-Kyoudai, as according to Nakashio, he left the neighborhood.
