Pac-Man (Kana: パックマン) was a TV anime based off of the famed arcade video game of the same name.

It aired on Fuji Television from 1988 through 1989.


The series revolves around Pac-Man and his friends as they topple the ghosts.


  • Kōichi Yamadera as Pac-Man, the main protagonist of the series.
  • Yūko Kobayashi as Pakko/Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man's girlfriend and sidekick.
  • Keiko Toda as Mushamusha/Chomp-Chomp, Pac-Man's pet dog.
  • Wataru Takagi as Akabei/Blinky, the leader of the Ghosts and the arch-enemy of Pac-Man.
  • Chika Sakamoto as Pinky, a cheeky female ghost.
  • Yasuhiro Takato as Aosuke/Inky, a snobbish ghost.
  • Tōru Ōhira as Guzuta/Clyde, the least intelligent and most submissive ghost.
  • Megumi Hayashibara as Miru, a friend of Pac-Man who, despite being a Ghost, means no harm against others.

Theme Songs


The show has no opening theme song, instead a short narration provided by Kazuhiko Inoue introducing the ghosts and Pac-Man.
