TriviaEdit

  • After the show's end in 2009, it had a repeated airing on NHK Educational Television from 2011 throughout 2014, with only one segment being aired.
    • This is the reason why its sequel series airs on NHK, rather than Nippon Television.
  • At 172 episodes and 516 segments, Ponpoko 4-Kyoudai is the studio's longest running TV anime.
  • In the online version available on Studio XYZ's official Youtube/Nicovideo channels, director Akihide Akimoto's name was removed from both the opening and ending credits.
  • After finishing production for episode 85, Series compositor Masahide Iguchi left Studio XYZ for personal reasons. He would later return in 2014.
